Compassion-focused discounts, payment, and scholarships information:

The fee set by the Compassion Institute of  $390 USD is very commensurate with the quality of this course, plus the time and training required to become certified to teach.  Stripe charges 2.9% plus 30 cents for transactions in Canada and the US and a different rate for other countries.

We are aware that global corruption and inequality make co-creating a compassion-focused civilization, a challenge for all. To address valid concerns raised by people sharing their financial challenges, these options are available.

  • For people who live, bank, and pay taxes in Canada, a discount of $100 USD is available per course.

  • There is also a discount for those who are students, seniors or experiencing loss of income, there is a discount of $190 USD available to five people per course.

  • For participants, who live in countries in which the unequal international monetary systems make paying in USD prohibitive, the fee is $55 USD. This is also for up to five participants per course.

  • There is a certificate for this course and this will be accepted as part of professional development training by many organizations.
  • All fees may be paid over 3 or 6 months.
 
We acknowledge that we are living at a time of massive inequality and this makes  sorting out fees and payments especially online is very challenging. I have not figured out how to give a discount coupon and a choice of paying over 3- 6 months to the registration.  Please choose a coupon that works for you or simply contact me and make some donations when you can through the donate button.
